MHA issued the advisory guidelines are:

  1. The buses and trains has to be properly sanitized which is used for transport for the Migrant people.
  2. While seating on the bus or trains the person of social distancing should be followed properly.
  3. Every single person who is going back will properly checked by the state from which they are going and if anyone found any symptoms of COVID-19  then he/she must not be allowed for travelling, while others who are asymptomatic may proceed.
  4. The details of every person should be maintained by the both state government, so that they can be properly monitored thereafter.
  5. On reaching the destination state government must check thoroughly every person and kept them in quarantine for atleast 14 days and periodic check-up needed to be done.
  6. Encourage all people to download the Aarogya setu app if having Smartphone so that they will be properly monitored through that.
  7. The states which is fall under the transit must be allowed them to go to their destination.
  8. Special trains named  Shramik train be run for the long route passengers.
