The Government of Assam has launched the Atal Amrit Abhiyan Scheme for the people of the state of Assam. Under this Atal Amrit Abhiyan scheme, the people of Assam will have insurance coverage up to 2 lakh. This scheme has been made for those people whose annual income is more than Rs. 2 lakhs. For example, BPL families (free enrollment.) Will get the benefit of this Atal Amrit Abhiyan scheme in the hospital, because it is medical insurance given to you by the government. Through this Atal scheme, you will be able to get treatment for major and life-threatening diseases like cancer, kidney, heart attack, in the hospital at no cost.

- The beneficiary will get cashless medical health care and treatment. Free medical care up to Rs. 2 lakhs. (लाभार्थी को कैशलेस चिकित्सा स्वास्थ्य देखभाल और उपचार मिलेगा। नि: शुल्क चिकित्सा देखभाल रु। 2 लाख।)
- All the expenses of the hospital will be paid for serious and highly treated diseases such as cancer, kidney disease, neurological conditions, neonatal diseases, burns and heart. (अस्पताल के सभी खर्चों का भुगतान कैंसर, किडनी रोग, न्यूरोलॉजिकल स्थिति, नवजात रोग, जलने और हृदय जैसे गंभीर और अत्यधिक उपचारित रोगों के लिए किया जाएगा।)
- This scheme will provide the counseling, medical, diagnosis, food and hospital expenses to the beneficiary under treatment. (यह योजना में उपचार के तहत लाभार्थी को परामर्श, चिकित्सा, निदान, भोजन और अस्पताल का खर्च प्रदान करेगी)
- The beneficiary can get admitted in the hospital without any payment.( लाभार्थी बिना किसी भुगतान के अस्पताल में भर्ती हो सकता है।)

Atal Amrit Abhiyan Scheme Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must be a citizen of Assam (आवेदक असम का नागरिक होना चाहिए।)
- BPL families whose annual income is less than 1.2 lakh. They will be given absolutely free health card through this scheme. (बीपीएल परिवार जिनकी वार्षिक आय 1.2 लाख से कम है। इस योजना के माध्यम से उन्हें बिल्कुल मुफ्त स्वास्थ्य कार्ड दिया जाएगा।)
- APL families whose annual income will be between 1.2 lakh to 5 lakh, those families will have to pay a premium of 100 rupees every year. (एपीएल परिवार जिनकी वार्षिक आय 1.2 लाख से 5 लाख के बीच होगी, उन परिवारों को हर साल 100 रुपये का प्रीमियम देना होगा।)
- Government employees cannot apply for this scheme, this scheme is not for government employees. (सरकारी कर्मचारी इस योजना के लिए आवेदन नहीं कर सकते, यह योजना सरकारी कर्मचारियों के लिए नहीं है।)
